Dr.Ramesh Ranganathan is a leading Neurologist in the State. With 18-year of experience and working with Vasavi Hospitals, Bangalore. He is a senior Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spine surgeon. He has a degree in DNB Neuro surgery from Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. In 1997, he joined Amala Cancer and Research Centre Thrissur as a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Head of the Dept. of Neurosurgery and worked in this prestigious hospital for 7 years. After that he worked between 2004 and 2014 as Consultant Neurosurgeon and head of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Apollo BGS hospitals in Mysore and helped establish a full-fledged Tertiary care trauma Centre. Under his expertise, the Department of Neurosurgery has been undertaking complex Brain and Spine tumors, Major Neuro trauma and Poly trauma cases on regular basis with good results in multispecialty interaction and involvement.
